Leaking roofs – no problem
Usually people don’t give any thought to their roof until it is leaking or damaged in some way. A leaking roof is most annoying and can even do internal damage to your home. Many times it is just a matter of fixing broken roofing tiles, replacing rusty box guttering or securing a piece of roofing iron that has come loose. Sometimes the cause of a leaking roof is not immediately clear and our qualified roofers will have to do some investigations to find the cause of the problem.
A common problem that can cause a leaking roof is damaged flashing. Roof flashing is a material that's used over joints in the roof and wall construction to prevent water seepage. If the flashing on your roof has become damaged, it's usually the result of drying and cracking or even improper installation. The team at A Aadworkin’ Roofer have experience in repairing damaged flashing on roofs. Tiled roofs have flashing that can made of lead but sometimes will be made from zinc or galvanized iron. If your flashing can be salvaged then we will repair it, however if not it will need to be replaced to prevent further roof leakage and possible structural damage occurring to your home.
